Slopehill Residence

This rural residence is oriented for sun and views. The residence is divided into two forms which are intersected by recessed entranceway . The generous hallway forms a spine linking the length of the building and opening into living areas. Living and bedrooms all have their own courtyards and outdoor living areas. The robust modern form uses stonework massing to ground the building to the landscape and slatted cedar rain screen provides a domestic scale and texture . Large roof overhangs provide shelter and enclosure of outdoor space
